    My priority as content manager was to create engaging content that adhered to the Generations brand standards and produced measurable conversions.I managed all of the Generations social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest. These team members provided support for the Marketing Department's content strategy.My work on the Money Made Simple blog (part of the Generations website) included creating the blog calendar that mirrored the larger Marketing calendar, assigning blogs to writers, managing relationships with contract writers, reviewing content for accuracy and brand standards, ensuring adherence to SEO (search engine optimization) best practices and targeting specific keywords using the Google keyword planner. I also regularly wrote content for the Money Made Simple blog. All of these responsibilities supported our larger initiative to increase SEO of MyGenFCU.org. I also tracked reports measuring the success of our efforts in Google Analytics and by using the Yoast plugin on Wordpress.In summer 2018, I played a key role in designing the layout of Generations’ relaunched intranet. My work included creating a brand standard guide specifically for our employee internal site, including the designs of header images, scrolling banners, buttons and more. As part of my duties on the intranet committee, I provide support for the creation of new pages, banners and video.

Duties and Projects:GrantsDuring my time with CCCSSA, I researched, wrote and submitted over ten grant applications and Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) totaling over $320,000. Funders included Bank of America, Citi Bank, Capital One, the Texas Credit Union Foundation and USAA.Special EventsI assisted with the preparation and management of agency events and workshops by designing flyers, presentations and Public Service Announcements (PSAs). I also served as the agency expert on student loans at student loan repayment workshops and presented information to crowds of over 40 attendees.Public Relations and Community ImageMy press releases resulted in media coverage by KSAT-12, Telemundo, the San Antonio Express-News and the San Antonio Business Journal.     During this summer internship, I interviewed World War II, Korea and Vietnam veterans on camera so that their stories could be documented for future generations in the archives of the WWII Oral History Project (now VOCES).My duties included conducting the interviews and setting up/dismantling interviewing equipment such as stage lights, cameras, tripods, scenery backgrounds and microphones. I also created a 5-minute video of one WWII veteran's story by editing a 2.5 hour interview. This was done as a trial run for a campus-wide contest that ran at UT in Spring 2011.
