I've been accepted into the EMBARK cohort for training as a facilitator in Cybin’s sponsored clinical trials, responsible for delivering skillful and ethical psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to study participants. I'm receiving in-depth didactic and experiential training in the full spectrum of psychedelic-assisted therapy best practices and evidence-based interventions under supervision.EMBARK™ is a ground-breaking psychotherapy model that integrates leading clinical approaches to promote supportive healing with psychedelic medicine. EMBARK is a transdiagnostic psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy applicable to a range of indications including major depressive disorder, alcohol use disorder, and anxiety disorders. EMBARK’s integrative approach comprises of six therapeutic domains: Existential & Spiritual, Mindfulness, Body Aware, Affective-Cognitive, Relational, and Keeping Momentum.Responsibilities: -Pre-requisite completion of the EMBARK Therapy Training Program with successful evaluation post-training-Delivering psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to participants with guidance and evaluation from experienced supervisors-Participation in supervision meetings according to the indication’s required Supervision protocol-Participation in peer consultation groups with fellow facilitators to support clinical work within a community of practice-Maintaining clinical charts, including all required documentation of session treatment plans and intake assessments-Maintaining confidentiality of records as required by law and treatment protocol-Attending regular team meetings and training as needed-Attending any required clinical research trainings, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and maintaining certifications for duration of study

Provides support for global social work curriculum development, program development, and research initiatives, including advocacy initiatives with the UN Working Group on Girls, program evaluation of girl's empowerment initiatives with Studio Samuel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and social work education curriculum development in Liberia and Sierra Leone. The overarching goal of this program—entitled the Rutgers University Behavioral Youth (RUBY) Collaborative, a Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Program—is to build capacity to address behavioral health challenges in adolescents and transition-age youth (TAY). Ultimately, the Rutgers SSW has been funded to expand and add diversity to the behavioral health workforce to care for TAY at risk for behavioral health disorders in the high-demand and high need geographic areas of New Jersey. The fellowship includes an emphasis on specialized advanced learning, training, and supervision opportunities for the students and their field supervisors in this program.-I'm trained to work collaboratively in specialized community agency settings to learn about clinical interventions that integrate medical and behavioral health care for at-risk adolescent and young adult populations. -I'm involved in numerous collaborative educational series over the course of two semesters using experts from a variety of fields essential to working with TAY (total of 10 sessions). -Various trainings in a range of areas including the behavioral health needs of TAY, adverse childhood events (ACEs), developmental theory, substance use challenges in adolescence, and leadership in working with interdisciplinary teams.
