I am responsible for overseeing, coordinating and optimising operations at the Centre for Scientific Computing. Our programmes and activities include:- MPhil in Scientific Computing ;- PhD in Scientific Computing (Physics);- Laboratory for Scientific Computing (research);- Continuous Professional Development courses;- The Gianna Angelopoulos Programme for Science, Technology and Innovation.

I ensure the smooth running of all activities at the Centre for Scientific Computing, which include: two academic programmes (MPhil and CDT); CPD courses; research activities and PhDs at the Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LabSC); The Gianna Angelopoulos Programme for Science Technology and Innovation (GAPSTI); and support for the Hermes 2020 Summer School. My responsibilities include finance, event and communications management, implementing process improvements and supervision.

I launched and ran this award-winning programme for toddlers and preschoolers, part of the WOW World Group franchise, in the Cambridge area.

Internal and external communications for the Institute for Manufacturing and its commercialisation arm, IfM Education and Consultancy Services (IfM ECS). My duties included: content management, news/feature writing, internal and external newsletters (print and digital), media relations, press releases, digital communications, video production, website optimisation, social media, and supporting the marketing and events functions with targeted communications.

Managing the Press Office in strategic collaboration with the Marketing department to meet business objectives and needs. My role was focused on increasing the company's visibility and media presence and enhancing its reputation as an expert in the IT Services field, whilst at the same time improving internal communications.My duties included:- writing and editing copy for articles, press releases, blog entries, the web;- placing editorial contributions in relevant print and online media;- managing and creating content for the company's blog;- organising interviews between journalists and spokespeople;- monitoring media requests and providing journalists with spokespeople for comment on relevant subjects;- conducting interviews to produce editorials;- issuing press releases;- internal communications channels such as the internal newsletters and intranet;- liaising with journalists and editors of target media.
