I am a graduate of San Diego State where I received my BA in Music Education in May of 2008. While attending San Diego State I studied a multiplicity of subjects which included everything from the psychology of music on the developing voice to discipline and classroom management. Throughout my college career I also worked full time in retail management where I gained extensive experience in management, customer service, and leadership. I have always held myself to the highest of standards in both the academic and professional arenas and now I would like to bring my knowledge and passion for learning and life to International schools.My ability to work as a team player, learn from every situation, and present innovative and efficient solutions to a wide variety of problems has no doubt lead to my success. I have spent hours developing my own instrument and how to utilize this skill in the classroom. I possess an outstanding ability to think on my feet and adapt to changing environments which results in practical solutions to complex problems. Based on my skills and background a classroom music teacher is clearly a positive move. My outgoing and friendly nature allows me to interact well with other staff members at all levels and I am able to communicate effectively at any level necessary.
