While at P+W, I participated in the Chicago Project Managers group, Project Architects Chicago group, Design Technology Leaders group and have attended the Healthcare Center of Excellence conference to represent Chicago. I have applied skills in Revit, Construction Administration, code analysis, leadership, and teamwork to assist in overseas healthcare projects and an 18,000 sq. ft. Cancer Center Expansion and Renovation.An active participant in the AIA Healthcare Knowledge Community allowed P+W to host a team of students for the annual AIA Student Design Charette two years in a row.

Since joining ESA in 2005, I became an integral member of the design team and have developed a specialization in healthcare design. In only two years with ESA, I played a key role in the successful design and implementation of multiple projects for a local healthcare group.I served as architectural designer for a new 92,000 sf medical office building in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Designed for future expansion, this building houses several large medical practices, an imaging center with MRI and CT scan, and a breast center. ESA collaborated with the client to design an environment that not only reflects the institute’s state-of-the-art technology, but also creates a warm and comforting space for visitors. Other efforts include over 35 projects, completing schematic design through construction administration, for over 8 years, and upholding a strong relationship with the client. Projects occupy over 210,000 square feet of new construction, medical office renovations and build-outs.
