QWI is a club whose goal is to create a safe space for women interested in finance to learn more about the finance industry and develop their presentation skills. Students are placed in 1 of 5 different asset classes: Venture Capital, Equities, Private Equity, Non-Traditional Assets, and Macro-Markets. With their team, research analysts prepare and present presentations at weekly meetings, and all members are given the opportunity to discuss their opinions on the topic that was presented by the asset team.

The Emerging Leaders Series is targeted at Black and Hispanic/Latinx students. The first part of the program is virtual. Part 1 allows participants to enhance their resumes, determine their personal skills, and learn more about Goldman Sachs and their different divisions. The second part of the program is the Banking Building Blocks Workshop at their headquarters. The workshop allows students to hear from a diverse panel and dives deeper into what an investment banking role looks like.

- Managed accounts payable email inbox, organized invoices to be sent for approval by management, and entered approved payable invoices into Sage 100 platform paying close attention to cost codes. - Managed accounts receivable email inbox, prepared customer invoices on Sage 100 using inventory, operator schedule, and historical billing data, and entered invoices approved by customers into platforms such as Actian, Open Invoice, Enverus, and GEP Smart. - Reviewed monthly credit card statements, matched receipts to transactions, prepared a excel summary for each corporate card, and entered totals from excel summaries into Sage 100. - Compared Sage transaction to monthly bank statement to enter missing journal entries before carrying out bank reconciliation.- Created a training binder for future hires for the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and corporate credit card processes.

The multi-week virtual program allows students to expand their personal network, develop their personal brand, understand recruitment best practices, and explore the various career opportunities offered by the firm.
