(2016), Intermediate activity of midge antifreeze protein is due to a tyrosine-rich ice-binding site and atypical ice plane affinity. The FEBS Journal 283, 1504–1515.- Worked in the lab of Dr. Peter Davies, analyzing the structural and functional properties of an antifreeze protein from Lake Ontario midges, which identified a new category of antifreeze protein activity.
