 Confer with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products. Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications. Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. Preparing all required documentation for an automation substation including signals list, architecture, interlocking and equipment lists. Test and confirm the reliability of equipments and make sure it matches the customer's specification.

 Perform maintenance checks as per schedules agreed with Senior Engineer and highlight problems encountered and recommend solutions. Works independently on routine maintenance tasks and fault finding. Perform regular checks for correct operation of equipment. Follow proper troubleshooting, and escalation procedures during problem resolution . Perform consistently to meet operational requirements and work as a team with others on duty. Meet all health and safety requirements. Monitor the utility power supply at site to ensure that it functions as per requirements and escalate any problem for resolution with the supply company.
