Job Description & Main Duties Managed comprehensive humanitarian and emergency response programs in complex contexts, including the Sudan crisis.  Designed and implemented strategies to address the urgent needs of vulnerable populations, with a particular focus on women and girls.  Ensured effective resource management and financial accountability while maintaining transparency.  Successfully secured funding for Reproductive health, Gender-based violence & Humanitarian Programs and built strong partnerships with donors and stakeholders.  Contributed to the development of innovative approaches to prevent gender-based violence, such as Edutainment, Sports, Generation Dialogue, and community health volunteer programs.  Provided training and capacity building to case management teams and frontline staff on GBV prevention, response, psychological first aid, and emergency preparedness.  Supervised program managers and provided technical guidance and support to ensure effective program implementation.

Managing and supervising UNFPA Funded Program,Strengthened capacities of youth-led organizations and networks to empower communities with information on RH, GBV and FGM and integrate response services to the most vulnerable population (including refugees)

“Safe Spaces for GBV Survivors, The project aims to establish safe spaces for women& girls, providing the minimum package of services like MHPSS , Legal , Protection and medical services to GBV survivors from refugees . Preparing, managing and regularly updating the project activities work plan and related financial plan, ensuring timely and quality implementation in compliance with the defined project strategy as well as UNFPA guidelines. Coordinating with logistic, administration and finance units to procure all equipment, supplies, materials and services required to implement the project activities, ensuring cost efficiency and accountability in compliance with donor regulations and procedures. Undertaking field visits to provide technical guidance and supervision as well as to regularly monitoring the progress of activities at the safe spaces. Managing the project in line with the project document for the protection of vulnerable refugees women and children from violence and abuse Budget Allocation and Monitoring Preparing periodic project narrative and financial reports, according to donor requirements. Representing Etijah in relevant thematic working groups as well as other coordination and ad meetings as needed. Establishing and maintaining collaborative relations with representatives from donors, local, partners, workers, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders. In coordination with the human resources unit, carrying out recruitment procedures for the staff and consultants. Training , orienting and supervising the staff and evaluate their performance Consolidating reports on; counteracting SGBV awareness change across the project Support in designing tools for monitoring and evaluation of projects' effectiveness and manage information database. Training, coordinating and supervising the staff and evaluating their performance. Representing in relevant thematic working groups as well as other coordination and ad meetings, as needed.
