I am a hard-working graduate from Cardiff University and am eager to further my career within the Sciences. My recent degree in Chemistry as well as my time working at BTG have allowed me to work in lab environments while performing experiments within Chemistry and Pharmaceuticals increasing my desire to work within science. My recent positions within both Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) at BTG have allowed me to work with and observe a number of different analytical techniques, performing many assays associated with them and also working within a supporting role while in QA. Both positions allowed me to build upon my sence of responsibility within the working world where accuracy and cGMP standards were expected to be kept to the highest levels. My time there also increased my ability to identify potential problems, and as a result gaining familiarity with the out of specification and corrective and preventative procedures. Good team work and communication capabilities have been essential and are skills I utilise readily. I have a good understanding of the importance of good manufacturing practice and ensuring health and safety regulations are kept. I possess a willingness to learn and share the workload of my colleagues. I aspire to make the most out of as many new opportunities as possible so as to better contribute to future employment.
