Samara Cannon Email and Phone Number
Hi I'm Samara,I have worked in the animal industry now for 14 years. While this is the only industry I have worked in, I have had a broad variety of roles that has given me a diverse skill set that could benefit any workplace. I am a very keen, fast learner and will always seek out the answer if I don't already know it. I am known to be a dedicated worker who gives their all no matter how big or small the job. When in management I lead by example and first show my staff what I expect from them before asking that of them. Since working with the Groodles Australia program I have developed a passion for helping people and making changes to better the lives of others. It is important to me that the job I have is ticking this box as I desire this fulfillment in my work. I have been very lucky to have gotten the opportunities I have whilst also starting a family with my highlight being the NT Veterinarian Nurse of the Year Award in 2015. I hope that I can continue to grow and develop and am willing to take a leap and try something new.At home, I have a supportive husband and 3 beautiful children. I enjoy the outdoors, exploring, music and family time.

ManagerGroodles Australia Sep 2018 - PresentMy role as the Manager of Groodles Australia is a very honored role. I manage all staff and volunteers as well as liaising with new puppy owners and charities that we support. A big part of my role is admin, working with xero as well as policy writing, maintaining and updating relevant documents and keeping track of accounts. Event planning is also part of my job and something that I enjoy, with a big annual event planned each year. I manage all communication with clients and handle all complaints and queries. Managing this program has been a huge form of growth for me personally. I have learnt many skills that will help with future roles as well as promoting a need for growth. Working with a program that is changing lives through the works that they do has also created a passion in me for working with companies who are making positive changes for others and our planet. -
