Animals tend to connect with me in a way that is explainable. For my junior and senior year of high school I decided to pursue my interest in animals and go into the veterinary assisting program at Live Oaks Career Campus. Graduating with not only my high school diploma but becoming a certified veterinary assistant was a huge success.My mission is to learn and perform anything I can possibly do to help animals. There are so many animals in this world that are found roaming the streets or in shelters for years. I would like to give back to my community by getting qualified with as many things as I can and learn as much about animals in order to help them. I have worked with service dogs who will be placed in people's homes, schools, facilities (etc..). These dogs will then help people one day who are either disabled or have other medical conditions, need some cheering up and so on. Getting to work with these dogs was an absolute pleasure and they made me realize how much dogs really impact humans' lives day by day. Lastly, I am a very social and a productive individual. I was a part of FFA for 4 years, I was able to be recruited for several academic organizations in high school as well as volunteering at some local facilities around my area. Helping others and giving back to others is a big thing for me. Being able to help someone and they tell you thank you or even seeing a smile from them is the best feeling you could ever ask for. One day I would like to possibly create an organization or fundraiser that helps give back to people and animals.
