The research focused on cultural constructions of "healthy diets" and "good taste", through social protection networks in Brighton and Hove. The research explored the extent to which being healthy is equitable to economic capacity, and concluded that diet related illness was most prevalent among economically marginal groups, and among individuals with mental illness.
