As Research Information Officer I'm responsible for producing a range of online resources for the University’s research community. Weekly tasks include: writing web content, developing online tools for content delivery, maintaining and upgrading a University website, and developing & delivering info-sessions and customised training.A large component of my role involves sourcing competitive and corporate funding for both senior and early-career researchers. This includes spending time with graduate students and researchers to gain an understanding of their project needs, and matching funding gaps with opportunities sourced using various fund-seeking databases and other information networks.

As a writer and television presenter working for the ABC's Asia Pacific programming team, I developed material for Digital Daze, an educational program for ESL (English as a Second Language) audiences throughout the Asia Pacific Region, with a focus on technology & culture.

Within the School of Art, Architecture, and Design, my role as an sessional lecturer and tutor involved academic research, classroom delivery, assessment, and ongoing staff and student liaison, to ensure that students were engaged, and demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the required curriculum.

As Research Assistance for the Adelaide Thinkers in Residence program, I was responsible for:Developing and conducting a survey to determine any positive outcomes that have arisen as a direct or indirect result of the Thinker's in Residence program.Interviewing program participants and sponsors.Producing a quantitative report and analysis of the findings.Providing accompanying qualitative feedback of the findings.

As Arts Manager, I was responsible for:Developing networks between artists, arts organisations, festival coordinators, and local IT industry to foster research into alternative applications for emerging technologies.Writing proposals to secure sponsorship from arts funding bodies and local commercial sponsors, for the support of regionally touring exhibitions, workshops and visiting artist residencies.Facilitating the development of courses within IT and Multimedia, customised for artists and arts workers requiring industry-level training.Managing events and curating new media exhibitions, forums, performances and artists' promotional events.
