I am deeply passionate about and am an advocate for social justice. This is reflected in my many years of working and volunteering in the social sector. I have worked with disadvantaged youth, children and young adults, the homeless, prisoners and more recently, I am working as an Operations Assistant at Kyria Network, a charity who champion equality and empowerment of female leaders. Throughout these roles, I have used and honed my skills of administration, communications, teaching, leadership and strategic thinking. I also have a First Class Business Management degree, where my dissertation explored how charities can improve their performance to enhance their societal impact.Alongside working for Kyria Network, I am also an advocate for the chronically ill. I do this by sharing my own experiences through my writings on Instagram. In my advocacy, my hope is to validate the struggle of so many and to bring a little more understanding to others.
