I have 12 years experience working in health and social care settings. Primarily with adults who have autism, learning disabilities, mental health conditions and other secondary conditions, but more recently with childrenan SEN school.I have a BSc Hons degree in Positive Behaviour Support and I have completed courses in understanding autism and introduction to applied behaviour analysis. I am passionate in understanding what a person behaviour means to them, and supporting them to meet that need functionally, alongside focusing on the individuals quality of life and supporting them to be able to do the things that they want in their lives. With a main focus ensuring that individuals get the right level of support to give them the independence they need and are safe in the support they are receiving. I am passionate for creating training programs/course that support staff to understand Positive Behaviour Support and how to use this approach when supporting a variety of individuals.
