• Idea to Startup LabFaculty Development Office : Video Editing

Dr. Uma Ramakrishnan's Lab:• Tracked the movement of identified tiger individuals in Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, and collected their shed hair and urine samples.

• Analysed the impact on the tropical dry deciduous forests of Northern India due to human-induced changes in the environment of the study area with time using open-source software like Quantum-GIS and ArcGIS Online.

Dr. R. Suresh Kumar's Team:• Studied the impact of Power-line and Wind-energy infrastructures on the flight behaviour and spatial use of the Common Crane and Demoiselle Cranes in the arid plains of Kachchh, Gujarat, India. Assisted in monitoring the foraging, resting, and roosting areas of these wintering crane species, and the team was successful in deploying GPS-GSM tags on one of the Common Cranes for the first time from India, in order to track and study their use of flight routes during migration.• Studied the spatial use of Banni Landscape (Kachchh District, Gujarat) by wintering raptors, and impact of distribution line infrastructure and electrocution risks posed to them.

Dr. R. Suresh Kumar's Team:• Monitored the nests of a migratory bird, Barn Swallow in Nainital, Bhowali, and Bhimtal, Uttarakhand.My work involved locating nests, monitoring nest activity, and recording clutch size, hatching success, fledgling success, and number of broods throughout one breeding season.
