I’m also an Atlantic Council WIN Fellow for 2024-25.I have been recognized for my work as an advocate for women's economic empowerment by being selected as one of the 10 #LinkedInTopVoices on their first list in MENA celebrating International Women’s Day 2022. I was also awarded the prestigious 'Vital Voices Grow Fellowship 2021' as one of 50 global women leaders driving a business with social impact, and was recognized on the 'Arab Power List 2021' which included 100 business leaders who have had a significant impact on life in the MENA region by Arabian Business and also on ‘Top 50 Women Leaders” in 2022.My background is in the field of international development, having worked with leading global organizations including IFC - The World Bank Group, a European Commission funded program, the Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, Education for Employment and the Talal Abu Ghazaleh Organization. I have a special interest in diversity & inclusion and achieving gender equality, policy reform, education and knowledge development, as well as entrepreneurship and innovation.
