The Open Door, Inc. provides supportive housing and housing supports aimed at improving the health of chronically homeless individuals living with HIV who are often overlooked. It is our core belief that everyone, regardless of substance use, criminal history, mental illness, and/or eviction history, deserves a home.

I served as a development generalist in this positon, writing grants, developing and implementing the annual fund, coordinating events, and participating in the strategic planning process.

Responsible for all aspects of fund development. Served as generalist in the position. My responsibilities included, grantwriting, annual fund, events, donor stewardship, and major gifts.

Responsible for development and fundraising, grant writing, event planning, marketing activities, donor cultivation, Board development. Writing grants to Federal and County agencies, foundations and corporations. Benevon (Raising More Money) Team Leader- coordinates the implementation of aggressive fundraising model.
