Samara Sweig, MA in Health Advocacy, co-founded the Program for Inclusion and Neurodiversity Education ("PINE"), at New York University, in 2018. After launching in 2020, the program grew by 33% in the second year and 44% in the third year, with a 96% client retention rate from year-to-year. In her role, she drives new growth opportunities, has budgetary control, innovates internal management and systems, and focuses on scaling PINE with an emphasis on sustainability and impact. Samara has an impressive history of working with not-for-profit and double bottom line organizations. Throughout her career, she has directed programs with local, national, and international nonprofit organizations related to youth, social justice, and healthcare. Prior to founding PINE, she served as the Associate Director of Operations at NYU’s NICHE program, and brings a strong background in executive leadership, business development, strategic planning, and operations. Samara is an Advisor at the Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone Health, working to improve patient and family experiences, and she volunteers locally with organizations like Girls on the Run.
