    As the game director at WeirdBeard I was responsible for the overall creative quality of our products. This involved planning the scope and timeline of projects and their sprints, guiding our team of 6 to deliver a product in which the game design, art and audio are at the level to compete in today’s market. When one of these aspects was outsourced I handled all communication with outside parties. On a production level I was responsible for creating game content like levels, missions, puzzles but also designing features, systems and UI.During this period I was also the artist at WeirdBeard. I determined the art style of our projects, setup the pipeline and created everything from concept art, to promotional art, to game assets.As I worked both for clients and on WeirdBeard’s own IPs, performing within creative boundaries, under tight deadlines, or in complete freedom was daily practice. Besides development I was also heavily involved with business strategy. Together we brought the studio from making flash games for web portals to making our own online multiplayer game for PS4 and Steam that was featured in PlayStation Plus in August 2016.

At Virtual Fairground I also made the game Pulse for which I was the main designer and created concept art and game assets.
