The current house renting eco-system has three critical issues, ie.a. Lack of Independent Researchb. Lack of Genuine Listingsc. Inconsistent Transaction Delivery LazyHomer is an attempt to address the above issues by re-imagining the current process and structure of the existing eco-system. LazyHomer is an apartment renting startup that lists tenants (opposed to houses as is the case with aggregators like magicbricks, 99acres etc.) and is based on an in-house research platform. It works in 3 basic steps:Step 1: Research Delivery: The tenant searches and matches his requirements (from an exhaustive in-house online research database of apartment societies) and identifies 5-7 societies that best-fit his requirements. Step 2: List Tenants: He then goes on to post his requirement in these societies on Lazyhomer.com. Step 3: The House Finds You: Brokers or Owners who have apartments in these societies, access Lazyhomer.com to view the tenants’ phone number and contact them to show the houses. For the Tenant, it makes his life simpler by providing genuine research and saving hours of trouble of going through 100s of listings and calling up brokers to find out that only 10% of those are genuine. For the Broker / Owner, LazyHomer acts as an active platform where they immediately have access to tenants for their inventory (as against posting their listing and waiting for the tenant to call).
