Hyperloop India is a unique non-profit think tank consisting of 60+ motivated student volunteers in the fields of engineering and business, interested in reinventing transportation in India. Out of the 1200 teams that participated in SpaceX's Hyperloop Pod Competition, 24 were selected for the final stage of the competition. Hyperloop India is the only Indian team and one of the only two from Asia to get selected among this group.Starting small in Pilani, Hyperloop India has grown to become the largest student-driven multi-disciplinary team of its kind, constituting of students and faculty from the top engineering and business schools of the country.As a primarily student collaboration, our plan is to leverage our performance in global incentive prize competitions to create a nationalistic competitive impulse to bring the Hyperloop to the country.

Project Garuda is India’s premier Super-mileage team. We, at Project Garuda, aim at designing and fabricating vehicles that boast of exceptional mileage. A brainchild of R. V. College of Engineering, Project Garuda was the first Indian team ever to attain a 14th position finish at Shell Eco-Marathon, 2012. In addition to competing at SEM-A, the team also focuses on researching alternative fuels.Project Garuda is a team of student engineers at R. V. College of Engineering that was initialised in 2008. Since its inception, this project has been producing prototypes with astonishing mileage statistics. These prototypes are primed to compete at various international super-mileage events as well. The Shell Eco-Marathon is one such event.
