Laser Tracker can be called as Portable CMM (Co-ordinate Measuring Machine) where I understand the nature of work and setting up the tracker.· Making the alignment by applying few methods like PLP, PPP, Best Fit.· Setting the co-ordinates of HANSA Assembly Jig which was a crucial role during the assemble of the flight.· Inspected the Contour and drawing dimensions and made co-ordinates set for Aircraft parts like Canopy, Wing, Horizontal tail, Vertical tail, Rudders and Elevators.· Succeeded setting up the HANSA assembly jig which was a challenging task. The Aircraft is a new generation two seater which was launched recently.· Inspected the components of sheet metal, machined parts of the Aircraft using special instruments like Micro-hite, Profile projector in close tolerance cases.· Inspected and set fuel probe of LCA TEJAS (Lite Combat Aircraft).· Worked in Calibration lab and carried out the Calibration according to LCP (Lab Calibration Procedure) for various measuring instruments.
