During my internship at GACL, I worked in the Maintenance Department of the Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) plant, an experience that further deepened my understanding of plant maintenance, especially in the context of a high-tech chemical plant. The H2O2 production process requires meticulous attention to detail and precision, and I had the opportunity to observe and participate in several aspects of equipment maintenance and optimization.My role involved assisting with routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting issues with critical plant equipment. I gained exposure to a wide range of maintenance techniques, including the calibration of instruments, managing the integrity of pressure systems, and ensuring the efficient functioning of pumps, compressors, and other vital machinery.
