Metso Corporation is a global supplier of sustainable technology and services for mining, construction, power generation, automation, recycling and the pulp and paper industries.Designation: Deputy Manager QA/QC, Metso Minerals (India) Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon. Duration: 1st June 2010 to till date. Department: QA /QC.MAC specializes in equipment for Bulk Material Handling of raw/final products such as coal, iron ore, limestone, wood chips, potash, grain, fertilizer and a sundry of other bulk materials. Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for QA/QC activities of BMH Equipments, Crushing & Screening, Grinding products from incoming materials to finish product. • Understanding of National & International Metso Standards.• Preparation of Project Specific Quality Assurance Plan.• Dealing with customer for Project QAP approval.• Review and approval of Standard and bought outs parts/items.• Review and deliver the inspection requirement and best practices to all field engineers deputed at suppliers’ end.• Review and audit suppliers’ processes and facilities Review of final documents / MDR for its correctness and completeness.• Inspection arrangement at suppliers’ end. Managing team of 10 Quality Engineers• Involvement in critical inspection and NDT (UT, MT & PT) at customer end / suppliers’ end.• Support suppliers during process development • Visit at Customers’ site to attend and resolve site complaints.• Carry out defect analysis at Suppliers’ end and Customers’ end• Handling / control SAP activity for Quality Module for defects and cost analysis and record.
