- Worked with Professor Yong Yang and PhD. team to explore the impact of mechanical stretch on protein expression in optic epithelial cells and HMSCd3 stem cells. - Designed organ chips to simulate the effect of glaucoma on the optic nerve. Other labs could use our organ chips to optimize their drug therapies - Published in ACS Biomaterials: The Amelioration of spheroid growth on pillar and perfusion plate platform under dynamic culture conditions by eliminating the necrotic core. - Presented my work at UNT Scholars Day, A Novel Method of SolidWorks Simulation to Augment a Perfusion-Plate based Lung-on-a-Chip Device.- Worked on the detection of epithelial cell orientation from fluorescent micrographs.
