I'm a Software Engineer with strong skills in programming (Java/Unity/C#) with a background in game development. Through my experiences I have cultivated the ability to work collaboratively, creatively and approach problems in a logical, yet innovative way.During my time as a game developer/engineer I developed an understanding of the software development lifecycle and the Agile methodology when working on tasks ranging from managing a product update release to implementing new in-game content.I was driven to broaden my skills and explore new areas in the tech industry, transitioning to a software developer role, where I hope to leverage my prior experiences in new and exciting ways as well as putting into practice what I have learned since switching my focus.I am passionate about creating meaningful software solutions to problems which can positively impact peoples' lives. I enjoy working in a collaborative, diverse environment - there is always so much you can learn from your co-workers, and I am always looking to chances to improve and broaden my skills!
