I led the development and implementation of a secure and user-friendly solution for internet voting systems using colored passwords as mnemonic voting credentials. Our solution was applied to the CIVIS voting system and tested for efficiency, usability, memorability, and security. The research resulted in the publication of three academic papers, where I was the first author.My key responsibilities included proposing a new password model for easy memorization, web programming using Python and Javascript, creating images using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, using AGILE organization tools such as Kanban and Trello, creating and applying user experience (UX) questionnaires, and incorporating Bitcoin protocols.Our solution offers a practical and secure way to use internet voting systems without compromising their usability. As a researcher and back-end developer on the CIVIS internet voting system project, I conducted a study on software usability's impact on electronic voting systems. I updated code documentation, collected and applied user requirements, and improved system usability using web programming languages such as Python (using Django framework), Javascript, HTML, and CSS.My key responsibilities included:- Updating CIVIS code documentation- Collecting and applying user requirements- Correcting system problems- Improving system usabilityOur research was published at the national conference on Human-Computer Interaction of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC-IHC 2018) titled "Usability Considerations For Coercion-Resistant Election Systems," where I was a co-author. Our research provides important insights into the usability considerations for coercion-resistant election systems, which can benefit future development of internet voting systems.

As a security analyst on the CIVIS internet electronic voting system project, I analyzed web vulnerabilities using the OWASP security testing methodology. I performed penetration testing on the CIVIS system and fixed vulnerabilities found in web programming languages such as Python (using Django framework), Javascript, HTML, and CSS.My key responsibilities included:- Applying the OWASP security testing methodology- Performing penetration testing on the CIVIS system- Fixing web vulnerabilitiesOur research provided important insights into the impact of web vulnerabilities in electronic voting systems, and the importance of following OWASP security testing methodology.

At the Laboratório de Química Computacional (LQC), we applied computational chemistry tools to develop treatments against tuberculosis using chemometric, docking, and molecular dynamics techniques.As IT support, I installed and configured simulation software for chemical reactions and molecules, adapted software using Shell Scripts, and performed periodic tests to ensure smooth operation.Key responsibilities:- Shell Script programming in Open Source platforms- Software installation on Linux platforms- Technical support in a research laboratory- Image creation using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe IllustratorMy work resulted in the successful installation and configuration of various simulation software for chemical reactions and molecules, ensuring the proper operation of the simulation machines. As a result, the researchers at LQC were able to conduct computational chemistry studies combined with chemometric, dock, and molecular dynamics techniques, leading to the publication of multiple papers. Although not included as an author due to the focus on chemistry, I am proud to have contributed to this important research.
