As the Trimming Department Manager I am responsible for upholding the standards of our beautifully cultivated medicine and keeping up with production. I oversee hiring staff, operating budgets, improving processes, and managing goals for the department.- Oversee day-to-day operations- Maintain budget and optimize expenses- Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees- Update Attrition Rate to determine hiring needs- Prepare monthly reports- Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations- Direct employee assessment process; Perform biannual reviews for employees- Design strategy and set goals for growth- Create new roles within a growing department to aid in advancement for employees.- Schedule employees via Deputy- Create spreadsheets in Google Sheets and Excel: Attendance tracking, project tracking, project forecasting, and individual performance tracking.- Create digital versions of metrics tracking. Working on building an internal database to monitor metrics in real-time and utilize the information to assess department schedule and staffing needs.- Handle medicinal cannabis, including but not limited to: - Taking note of humidity and temperature to ensure the best quality of the cannabis plant. - Enforcing proper processes when taking the cannabis flower from dried product, to trim, to storage, and finally to the packaging department. - Upholding the highest standards in hand trimmed quality of our medicinal cannabis.- Run the end of harvest room reset: Cleaning the trim rooms from top to bottom to sanitize and set-up for the next batch of material.

As a hand trimmer my goal is to produce high quality plants for our patients. We take a lot of care in our hand trimming process. Minimal touching and handling of the plant will provide higher quality medicine to our patients.-Trimming product to company expectations and standards-Taking direction from supervisors-Harvesting mature plants as needed-Packaging dried flower for patients-Packaging concentrate and cartridges-Deep cleaning the trim room to reset and sanitize in between harvests to maintain a healthy and safe environment.-Assisting with quality control of trimmed product.
