Sonacom was part of Team Australia (Prime Australian Defence Contractors), developing technology and specialised products for The Royal Australian Navy.Heading the R&D Team of Engineers and Technicians we develop Sonar systems to improve maritime surveillance capabilities.

It was known as Thomson Marconi Sonar and later Thales Under Water Systems. The division developed Seismic Systems for under water oil exploration. As part of the design team, I was involved in the product development, production line tooling and process improvements.
