Within the Product Development team, I am currently working on a range of projects with the Qualifications division, alongside a team of professionals, we develop new qualifications for Ofqual approval and work with customers to build customised training opportunities. Working closely with Ifate, team also work on mapping pieces for new initiatives such as AAQs and HTQs. I have been working on the redevelopment of our Early Years Educator suite of qualifications in readiness for the DfE changes to the requirements for launch in September 2024. These include the Level 3 for the Early Years Educator, the Level 5 for the Senior Practitioner, and the brand new Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood. I have led on projects with our external partners and centres, including the first new integrated apprenticeship standard, the Geospatial Technician, where I had the opportunity to work directly with Ifate representatives, sector specialists, and members of the trailblazer group. Additionally, I have supported centres to develop a digital technology qualification and a fire stopping qualification for Ofqual approval. As a Qualifications Developer, I work alongside a range of other product professionals in assessment development, examinations, and EPA, and wider departments such as marketing and design.

Occupational Awards (Awarding Organisation and End Point Assessment Organisation) are sector specialists in Food & Drink Manufacturing, Furniture, Retail, Creative Industries, Improvement and Leadership & Management.Within my role, I lead and support a team of sector specialists, exam developers and product designers to develop qualifications and end point assessment instruments, following the full product development and review cycle. I work closely with technical experts in the fields of food and drink engineering, butchery, retail, management, improvement and furniture manufacture amongst many others. I work alongside with our contacts within our EPA EQA bodies, with Ofqual for qualifications and other relevant stakeholders and organisations, ensuring preparation for audit and the meeting of all appropriate guidelines and processes. My role involves presenting these results directly to regulatory bodies. As a not for profit organisation, my role includes presenting a segment to the board on a quarterly basis on behalf of my department and providing updates against our strategic direction. Additionally, I organise the training - both internally and externally - of new qualification implementation and preparation for end point assessment processes. I also work alongside the Head of Quality and Compliance to ensure that the assessment team and associated resources are working in practice by carrying out internal audits and observations of assessment practice. Part of my role involves working with others across the organisation on successful bids and tender applications, including onto the Emergency EPA Framework. I have developed a range of qualifications in furniture design, driver LGV train the trainer, epilepsy medication and administration, specialist stone surfaces manufacturing and instillation, and Retail Management.
