EQA for the CACHE brand of qualifications.Within my role I review and support centres to ensure they uphold the quality and standard of our qualifications across the Childcare and Health sector. As an EQA I work with a caseload of centres as a part of the sampling processes, new centre approval, and annual monitoring reviews. Where required, I support centres with risk factors to continuously improve the delivery and assessment of their qualifications and ensure that their learners receive the most up to date and relevant training towards the achievement of their chosen pathways of study.

Within the Product Development team, I am currently working on a range of projects with the Qualifications division, alongside a team of professionals, we develop new qualifications for Ofqual approval and work with customers to build customised training opportunities. Working closely with Ifate, team also work on mapping pieces for new initiatives such as AAQs and HTQs. I have been working on the redevelopment of our Early Years Educator suite of qualifications in readiness for the DfE changes to the requirements for launch in September 2024. These include the Level 3 for the Early Years Educator, the Level 5 for the Senior Practitioner, and the brand new Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood. I have led on projects with our external partners and centres, including the first new integrated apprenticeship standard, the Geospatial Technician, where I had the opportunity to work directly with Ifate representatives, sector specialists, and members of the trailblazer group. Additionally, I have supported centres to develop a digital technology qualification and a fire stopping qualification for Ofqual approval. As a Qualifications Developer, I work alongside a range of other product professionals in assessment development, examinations, and EPA, and wider departments such as marketing and design.

End Point Assessor across a range of apprenticeship standards across CYPFP/M, Teaching Assistant, Early Years, and Assessor Coach.

Occupational Awards (Awarding Organisation and End Point Assessment Organisation) are sector specialists in Food & Drink Manufacturing, Furniture, Retail, Creative Industries, Improvement and Leadership & Management.Within my role, I lead and support a team of sector specialists, exam developers and product designers to develop qualifications and end point assessment instruments, following the full product development and review cycle. I work closely with technical experts in the fields of food and drink engineering, butchery, retail, management, improvement and furniture manufacture amongst many others. I work alongside with our contacts within our EPA EQA bodies, with Ofqual for qualifications and other relevant stakeholders and organisations, ensuring preparation for audit and the meeting of all appropriate guidelines and processes. My role involves presenting these results directly to regulatory bodies. As a not for profit organisation, my role includes presenting a segment to the board on a quarterly basis on behalf of my department and providing updates against our strategic direction. Additionally, I organise the training - both internally and externally - of new qualification implementation and preparation for end point assessment processes. I also work alongside the Head of Quality and Compliance to ensure that the assessment team and associated resources are working in practice by carrying out internal audits and observations of assessment practice. Part of my role involves working with others across the organisation on successful bids and tender applications, including onto the Emergency EPA Framework. I have developed a range of qualifications in furniture design, driver LGV train the trainer, epilepsy medication and administration, specialist stone surfaces manufacturing and instillation, and Retail Management. I am involved with the leadership and management of quality within Oxbridge across a range of disciplines including: Business and Management, Child and Social Care and Teacher Training as well as HE courses and qualifications. • Developing and overseeing the currently learning materials and Quality Improvement processes• Working closely with the curriculum manager to assess performance data and ensure necessary changes are implemented• Lead on all Teaching, Learning and Assessment across the college for the areas of responsibility • Budget responsibility for all CPD training in line with the strategic aims of the college• Ensure the effective and well-organised delivery of the quality and improvement processes, maximising their impact towards achieving excellence• Deliver and support the review cycle for qualifications and learning materials• Full Internal Quality Assurance of qualifications and tutors/assessors within own areas of responsibility • Ensure accurate and robust assessment processes are used across the college• Assist in the organisation of EQA Days• Develop new materials and course content for new qualifications that appear within the Ofqual and Customised qualification range.• Work closely with the curriculum manager to assist in 1-2-1 where applicable• Ensure website data for courses are correct and up to date• Ensuring tutors are aware of changes within courses and assessments.• Organise standardisation meetings and activities; and ensure minutes are recorded correctly• Maintain own CPD in areas of responsibility ensuring sector knowledge and practice is up to date and relevant • Support team members in their own training, development, learner success and delivery: from team induction and through the learner journey that they support• Manage own caseload of learners across areas of responsibility to maintain teaching and assessment practice

- Engaging employers within our Apprenticeship scheme, recruiting apprentices for sourced vacancies, delivering work-ready sector training to candidates and placing them in appropriate roles, and continuing their learning and development support throughout their Apprenticeship journey. - Delivery of the full Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Sales, including Functional Skills and ERR.- Working with large caseloads of up to 74 learners across the East and West Midlands, and South Yorkshire. - Liaising with businesses including Johnston Press, SITEL and Local World to deliver high quality work place learning in a timely manner. - Full holistic course design, delivering on a new apprenticeship programme, to include observations and creative workshops. - Use of OneFile (ePortfolio) to gather evidence, set meaningful tasks and assess progress of all learners.- Delivering Functional Skills in one to one and group teaching, as well as with the support of ForSkills (electronic Functional Skills delivery platform).- Nominating two apprentices for Apprentice of the Year for them both to gain first or third place respectively.

- Setting up a new centre in the Sheffield area, based on a successful model currently being used in the North East. - Delivering BTEC ITQ and Employability workshops to NEET 19+ learners with a 97% completion rate, of which 100% were successful (personal achievement).- Seeing a transition rate of 3/5 learners entering sustainable employment within six months of course completion (company achievement), which far exceeded the national average at this time. - Creating CPD opportunities for other employees within the training provider. - Liaising with Work Programme Providers and the Jobcentre Plus to gain referrals. - Offering Open Days, Job Shops and Employment Support services to potential, current and past learners.

- Teaching Adult Numeracy, Literacy and Employability Skills to 19+ NEET learners, Entry Level through to Level 2, including the full initial assessment and continuous diagnostic assessment cycles. - Delivery of BCS ICT (ECDL Extra Level 2) to unemployed adults looking to return to work.- Working with local JCPs and WWPs to gain candidate referrals. - Achievement rate KPIs consistently exceeded on a month by month basis.
