New Home Design and Construction ProcessesInvolved all aspects of residential construction:Responsible for construction project management of multiple projects. Developed and updated relevant best work practices, policies and procedures including building specifications and training. Scheduled new construction tasks in a logical order, determined contingencies, seasonal deficiencies and schedule overlaps of multiple trades. • Quality Assurance (design and materials phase) and Quality Control (post completion, prior to turnover).• Contributed to Architectural, Structural and Mechanical drawings and re-designs.• Estimated Materials, Resources and Equipment Requirements.• Filed and Applied for Permits, Financing, Municipal Levies and Site Damage Deposits.• Project Management including developing work packages for deliverables.• Generated and followed up on RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and Contract A legalities.• Deficiencies: Assessment, Mitigation and Solutions • Sub-trade Supervision • Liaising with Suppliers & Inspectors • Closing Contracts and Project Turnover. Maintenance (Property Management)• Involved with fielding maintenance requests, assessing emergency to standard maintenance requests.• Scheduled tasks in a logical order including determining feasibility of overlapping of multiple trades’ onsite. • Created tenant guidelines and responsibilities for leaseholders.- I have continued to be involved with residential construction to the present.

■ Change Management and Compliance:Developed and Improved procedures, roles and standards to govern changes made to Enterprise level Information and Communications Systems. Fielded change requests, emergency changes, assessed scheduling issues and technical information, verified testing requirements, back out plans and procedural changes. Created weekly technical reports, charts and trends for stakeholders. ■ Incident Reporting and Risk Mitigation:Scheduled and performed interviews with system administrators and staff to ascertain incident details and record root cause(s) for near misses, system failures and emergencies. Created reports and supplied to CIO and additional stakeholders to calculate incident costs and further staff training requirements. Followed up with “lessons learned” and “confirmation of implementation” of new procedures as warranted. Developed new Incident Reporting guidelines and templates. ■ Resource Management:During an Enterprise level, Administrative Systems Renewal Project. Tracked roles, project responsibilities and availability of resources for approximately 80 personnel from different teams in a complicated environment where resource availability and commitment varied. ■ Audit Responses:Performed data gathering and formatting to supply statistical data for PricewaterhouseCoopers. This data was used as evidence to show our “change management” was in compliance with external and internal objectives and mandates.■ Protocols and Documentation:All Change Management procedures, documents and protocols were analyzed, revised and supplied to stakeholders as well as CIO/VPIT on a regular basis.

Responsible for the development, implementation and documentation of complex test plans and functional tests on proposed changes to our systems. • Uncovered defects and improved overall quality using high standards and practices. Ensured high quality, reliability, system safety and security was accomplished prior to implementation.• Directly reduced the risk of additional costs due to potential start overs, costly system changes or implementation of new systems.

Worked closely with AU clients on multiple projects and system enhancements. Determined existing business processes and shortfalls followed by identifying the new requirements and priorities of the stakeholder’s. • Created, changed, tested and performed trouble-shooting and deployed modified components of our systems. Worked with confidential records daily, fully documented work, trained university staff in operation of vanilla and custom software, created training step sheets and supervised summer students. Worked directly with staff to solve problems with business processes and systems. Kept projects very close to original scope and stayed within timeline constraints.
