"Elevating leadership performance"Telling a CEO of a £1bn+ turnover group (in front of his senior team) that he may want to rethink his thinking... yes, definitely a moment for me. It was the right thing to do and was the job I'd been tasked with. In my work, I live and breathe the methodology of support and challenge. Often that means that the right thing to do isn't the easy thing to do. It also means that I've had to learn to manage my own state so that I appear calm or assertive whilst sometimes feeling entirely different on the inside. My work centres around leadership development, exec coaching, and working with companies at SLT (senior leadership team) up to board level. That involves facilitation, contribution, advising, and providing feedback. Interweaved over the last 10 years is NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), various coaching-related methodologies, psychology, neuroscience, cold water immersion, breathwork, and even becoming a certified firewalk instructor. To me, everything to do with business is always about the people. Get the right people doing the right thing in the right way and you can do anything. If you're at a point in your business where something needs to change and the willingness is there.
