I serve as Transportation Manager at Vanguard National Trailer in Monon, Indiana, managing the flow of inbound and outbound material from our company's OEM, OEX and Aftermarket Parts Divisions across six warehouses.I'm also available and looking for freelance writing and reporting opportunities. My primary employer is The Times of Northwest Indiana/Lee Enterprises where I regularly contribute to the paper's high school sports coverage. This revolves mostly around football, boys basketball and girls basketball.I began my career in logistics upon graduating from Indiana's Kelley School of Business at CH Robinson inside its flagship Chicago Central office. I worked a variety of roles including operations, sales, account management, team management and was a frequent mentor to onboarding training classes of salesmen and account managers.My writing has appeared in a variety of newspapers, magazines and online outlets including The Associated Press, The Bloomington Herald Times, The Indiana Daily Student, The Indianapolis Star, Inside Indiana Magazine, Rivals, Yahoo! Sports and 247Sports, among others. I studied journalism at Indiana University's Media School. I've got enough experience in radio and podcasting to make me dangerous and despite having a face for radio do have limited TV and video work.
