Although I was not paid for any work outside of football and men's basketball, I believed my additional coverage of the other programs added significant value to our website and separated us from our competitors. That, to me, was worth my time.The position required plenty of multi-media reporting. In addition to my written work, I recorded podcasts, filmed video of both myself and recruits during games and keeping an updated social media presence. A major responsibility was posting and moderating our website's message boards. Those premium forums were available to those who paid monthly dues and were jam packed of insider information not typically shared with the common fan. On those boards, I was considered a true expert of all things Indiana University Athletics.Because we were a new staff, I also participated in plenty of radio guest interviews.
