Currently working towards a BA at Bishop's University in Mathematics and Sports Studies. Upon graduating in the Spring of 2022, I plan on using what I have learned to dive deeper into my interests in CrossFit.In 2019 I started doing CrossFit only a few months prior to moving to Quebec for school. An obvious challenge would be the language barrier, yet I was determined to improve my French while living here. During the spring of 2021, the CrossFit gym I train at here in Sherbrooke made a post that they were looking for a new coach. Despite feeling uneasy that my French had not yet excelled to this level, the owners at L'Usine Sherbrooke believed in me. With the great people who train at this gym, and the welcoming staff I have been able to grow more comfortable coaching and speaking with members in French, and have continued my passion for CrossFit, as a coach.I feel that as a coach I exist to ensure a welcoming and encouraging, yet safe environment, in which athletes and people can achieve their goals to better themselves and/or their performance. Success is showing up for everyone who is willing to put in the work, doing my best to accommodate for their needs with my expanding knowledge.
