I worked and researched for the NANOGrav collaboration, which aims to detect gravitational waves. I worked under Oberlin Professor Stinebring to model astrophysical phenomena that modify the signal of pulsars.I lead a small simulation development team; collaborated with Canadians, Europeans, Australians, and Chinese affiliated with NANOGrav, EPTA, PPTA, or IPTA; attended conferences and workshops in Austin, TX and Sydney, Australia; and collected data using the world's largest radio telescope, Arecibo.

Worked in C++, C#, XAML, and Python. Massively reduced size of compiled code by streamlining exception handling. Created user interfaces improving data presentation and data entry.
