More than two and a half decades of experience covering Policy & Regulatory Research, Advocacy, Consulting and Rural Initiatives (access to infrastructure). Professionally has engaged with Regulators, Government, Private Sector, Development Banks (ADB, World Bank, DfID) and Communities, in India and abroad, to undertake economic analysis and research for energy sector projects, demand analysis, supply planning, power environment modelling, regulatory economics, governance, advocacy and programs in the energy and sustainable infrastructure space. For several years, have led, designed & managed rural development initiatives involving Public-Private-Community Partnership to improve infrastructure access & sustainable livelihood of the beneficiaries. Have also held a Professorial position in NTPC School of Business, (where he is still a visiting faculty), offering courses in Energy Economics and Energy in Transition. PhD & MPhil in Economics (specialisation in Economics of Power Sector & Environment).Represented IDFC as nominee Director on the Boards of Delhi Integrated Multi-modal Transit System Ltd. (DIMTS), Infrastructure Development Corporation (Karnataka) Limited (iDeck), Uttarakhand Infrastructure Development Company Ltd (U-Dec); and former Director on the Board of Ayushraj Enterprises Pvt.
