About Sam Blustein
I have a passion for climate change action and awareness, which I express through greenhouse gas (GHG) emission data analysis, whether it be through simple life cycle assessment, product carbon footprinting, or GHG accounting. These tools fit into climate action, in that, they can act as the foundational pieces of advocacy. Emission data can be leveraged by decision-makers to influence positive changes (ex: renewable energy transition) that can lead to increased, global climate equity. Although I was drawn to this space as a result of the realization that climate impacts are inequitably distributed (and often shouldered by the most vulnerable), I aim to contribute to the solution through technical means. Through this support, I would like to be able to assist in providing a strong, supportive justification for social change, as well as more accurately target critical areas with a high potential for improvement.
