Being organised I thrive in a fast paced environment with multiple stakeholders and objectives where I am able to react at pace. Being an innovative and collaborative leader, I pride myself on building strong supportive and self assured teams through coaching and mentoring. By setting high standards but a culture where mistakes are learning opportunities the culture of the team is supportive and customer focused. I am able to translate intricate strategic plans to simple operational delivery targets, I understand how to support volunteers with strategic planning and translating those plans into achievable volunteer objectives. Having the ability to horizon scan and view the larger picture I am able to review policies and processes and see immediately where innovation can support practice improvements. My experience with safety and safeguarding including fatalities supports me to create policies that are robust and mitigate risk. My experience of governance in third and public sector organisations along with my HND gives me a broad knowledge of the issues created and mitigated by good clear governance.My broad experience of managing complaints, misconduct and performance issues makes me a strong leader. I have a strong sense of ethics and confidence to deal with any issues that may arise professionally and ethically aligned to legal advice in that arena
