Fine-tuned a Support Vector Machine model to achieve 72% recall on witheld test data. - Text Analysis and Generation for Online Political Discourse: set out to promote productive political discussion online to counter divisive Russian trollbot activity. Used TFIDF, LDA, DBSCAN and t-SNE to vectorize, cluster, and visualize comments from Reddit's /r/NeutralPolitics community side-by-side with fivethirtyeight's dump of Russian Twitter troll-bots. Generated rational dialogue using a Naive Bayes on topics such as net neutrality, health care, and the investigation into Russian collusion in the 2016 election.
