Orchestrated integrations for vulnerability management software, such as Tenable.sc and TrueSight Automation Console, through organizing team meetings and researching architectures and API requirements, accelerating the Tech Transformation department’s planned integration schedule. Established research to facilitate future planned integrations. Constructed Python programs to isolate specific pull requests and update their corresponding Jira tickets, streamlining and enabling faster vulnerability remediation. Hardened the organization’s AWS security through YAML scripts written for Cloud Custodian. Created agile user stories to holistically plan for the Tech Transformation department’s future implementations. Presented collaborative research regarding the efficacy of Broadridge’s Associate Networks to an audience of 100 fellow interns.

Audited and hardened systems using the DISA STIG framework. Identified vulnerabilities across 330 Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers using OpenSCAP and pushed remediations using Ansible to ensure compliance with Department of Defense-issued recommendations. Investigated vulnerabilities and ensured that their remediations would not impose collateral damage or negative consequences. Regularly presented identified vulnerabilities and their mitigations to an audience of roughly 15 colleagues in the Open Systems Department. Provisioned and configured virtualized servers using VMware vRealize Suite in support of other users and departments, helping to securely facilitate the work of other members of the organization.
