Once approved the word document is converted to PDF format and stored in one of twelve different databases.• Maintained CyberTrax – a wholesale Intranet application used at various intervals throughout the year in which GTE will receive orders from large backbone ISPs such as UUNet and ANS. CyberTrax has generates over a hundred million dollar in revenues where sales coordinators, technical support staff, engineers, network planners, and many other process participants to can share a single coordination point using Lotus Notes and the Intranet via Domino. Its inventory management features help coordinate the need for new equipment with new capacity requested by GTE’s customers. Its reporting features help management track sales growth and improve the overall process by identifying key points of success and failure. The database is a user-friendly application complete with workflow used to automate and improve the timeliness from the previous manual process. Employees are allowed to order new digital phones and accessories once every three years if certain criteria’s are meet. Once an order is submitted in the database, a database administrator can approve or decline an order and notify the submitter with a status electronically. • Designed and developed a database used by Human Resources to track all new and current employees’ personal information. This database has one front navigator that links to fourteen different databases. One of the databases is a Job Posting Database with a build-in internal job application with direct data dump from PeopleSoft. This database is a complete workflow database allowing the submitters current manager to approve or decline their application then route an application to Human Resources, and finally route to the Hiring Manager to approve/decline or hire the applicant. -
