As Founder and Executive Chairman, I am responsible for the strategic direction of the Truescape Group. Truescape has a well established and leading reputation for the development of smart, dynamic visual tools that translate all sorts of data and information complexity into visual outputs that are way beyond an infographic and are easy to understand. For Truescape this is an exciting area of business as the applications for and opportunity for growth ahead of us are massive simply because smart visual representation is transforming how knowledge and facts are being communicated. With smart visual representation as a strategic focus we are now working with some of the biggest corporations on the planet to assist with explaining their strategies and the value of investment and development decisions across economies, industries and geographies. Truescape Group is mini multinational made up of four corporate entities, the New Zealand parent, Truescape Limited and its three offshore subsidiaries Truescape USA, Inc. Truescape Canada inc. and Truescape Australia Pty Ltd.

Shoveller Projects Limited is a privately held land development company. Its latest project has been the completion of the Rocklands sub division at Tai tapu, just outside Christchurch. Rocklands is environmentally friendly lifestyle subdivision consisting of 21 1 to 2 hectare lots situated in a small valley in amongst a 20 hectare internal native forest reserve. Rocklands also maintains most of its own services including internal domestic water reticulation and a grey water evaporation pond for the treatment of household waste water.

Xports Oceana Limited and its sister company, EXO NZ Limited specialized in marketing New Zealand specialty food products to wholesale distribution networks in the United States. Amongst other things Xports pioneered the air freight export and distribution of New Zealand fresh culinary herbs direct to wholesale markets in a number of major US cities including New York, Chicago, Houston, Denver, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Other activities included trading New Zealand Venison into Alaska and trading Russian Reindeer Antler horn out of Siberia to Korea. This was certainly a formative and exciting time of my life as the business took us to many interesting places on the planet and generated some fairly unique experiences and opportunities.
