As the Stadium Safety & Security Manager at Dunedin for the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™, I ensure the implementation of safety and security plans for the tournament, in collaboration with local government agencies, law enforcement, and private security providers. I have been working in this role since June 2023, and I am passionate about delivering a safe and enjoyable experience for all stakeholders and spectators.I am also the Director of Crowd Safety & Security, a self-employed consultant for the sport and entertainment sectors, since June 2014. I have over 30 years of experience in managing safety and security needs for various events, venues, and clients, from football clubs to international festivals. I have a Level 4 Diploma in Spectator Safety Management, a Managing Safely in the Exhibitions & Events Industry certification, and a Close Protection Licence. I offer a range of services, from event safety management, to security risk assessment, to business continuity planning, and more. I am always eager to learn, adapt, and redevelop my skills and systems to meet the changing demands and challenges of the industry.
