Collaborating with Legal, IT, and key Global Function Leadership to gather inputs and ensure strategic alignment.Achievements:- Set a comprehensive Data Compliance Strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, budgetary considerations, and risk tolerances.- Led the Global Privacy Office, maintaining it as a Centre of Excellence by fostering a clear vision, providing coaching, inspiration, and empowerment to team, enabling them to make significant impact.- Redefined and launched the Group's Data Risk Committee, encompassing crucial areas such as Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Data Governance, AI Governance, and Responsible Data Practices, thus ensuring top-down alignment and buy-in, reinforcing the company's commitment to legal and ethical data practices.- Played a pivotal role as a founding member of Reckitt's Responsible Data and AI Working Group, shaping and implementing governance and assurance processes to adapt to evolving legal requirements.- Monitored and reported key metrics and progress of regional programs across various regions worldwide, ensuring full engagement and support from regional teams.- Established and nurtured a growing privacy champions network, ensuring that Data Protection is integrated into all business functions across the organisation.- Provided oversight of core privacy operations, including Privacy Incident Management, DSR fulfilment, DPIAs, internal and external audits coordination, and regular governance policy reviews.- Negotiated Data Processing Agreements for high-risk vendors across multiple jurisdictions and oversaw the execution of Reckitt’s Intra-Group Data Transfer Agreement, ensuring robust contractual safeguards in place.- Nominated point of contact for ICO and all other regulatory interactions on behalf of the Group.
