Lead Engineer for the Life Cycle management tool for dedicated and leveraged network devices with 50 active users Took a tool with a nine minute load time for 15,000 devices to under 2 minutes in 4 months while still supporting upgrades and user support.Improvements achieved through stored procedures, better local caching and a normalized database.User base was increased to 70 users, with no loss in load times.Increased user productivity and accuracy through reporting tools and weekly synchronization with automated networking pooling.With the network configuration automation, the tool was able to see directly connected devices by leveraging existing device VLAN, VRF and interface connections mapped to leveraged accounts.Created a lite application to help users with slower network connections.Application allowed the majority of functions without the large cache file needed to run the full version.Normalized and structured database, and made changes that required fewer calls reducing access time to all 50,000 devices from 9 minutes to under 30 seconds.Created web tutorials for all newly added and existing features.
