As the Risk Management Chair for Phi Kappa Sigma, I work to ensure the safety and well-being of all fraternity members. My role involves managing risks for events and daily operations, making sure we follow both university and national policies. I focus on identifying potential risks and finding proactive solutions to keep our chapter safe and secure.My Key responsibilities include:-Assessing risks for fraternity events to ensure compliance with safety, health, and legal guidelines.-Creating and implementing strategies to reduce potential risks, including those related to alcohol use, member behavior, and event planning.-Working with fraternity leaders to make sure our activities meet national and university standards.-Responding to incidents and handling crises by coordinating with local authorities, university officials, and the fraternity’s national headquarters when needed.-Acting as the main contact for all risk-related matters to protect members and guests.This role has strengthened my leadership, decision-making, and crisis management skills. It has also deepened my understanding of risk management strategies, which I can apply in both personal and professional settings. My work has helped create a safer environment for our chapter, allowing members to build stronger connections and take part in meaningful activities with less risk.

As a youth soccer coach at Boulder Indoor Soccer I have developed skills teaching children ages 4-11 how to play the game of soccer, how to respect yourself, the coaches, and each other, and learned valuable lessons about customer service when caring for parents of the children.

As a member of Phi Kappa Sigma, I had the opportunity to work with Invest in Kids on their annual Jane-A-Thon, a ski and snowboard marathon fundraiser supporting children in Colorado. Alongside my fraternity brothers, I helped raise awareness and collect donations for this important cause. Together, we contributed to raising significant funds to support Invest in Kids' early childhood programs. This experience not only made a positive impact on the community but also brought our fraternity closer together through a shared commitment to philanthropy. I’m excited to continue supporting this event and look forward to making an even greater difference this year.

Worked in the footwear department at REI Tysons. Learned many skills such as accurately measuring someones foot to find the perfect boot, asking questions to customers to understand their needs, understanding different uses of the various types of footwear, and overall providing great customer service to anyone who comes in.

Worked at Congressional Country Club as a greenskeeper from May to August as a part time summer job. Learned skills such as lawn care, mowing, learning how to operate heavy equipment and more team building skills. As well as providing excellent customer service when engaged with members.

While volunteering with Willing Hearts in Singapore, I helped prepare and deliver meals to families in need. I worked with a team to package meals efficiently and ensure they were delivered on time. I also communicated with recipients to provide a friendly and supportive experience. Under the guidance of program managers, I assisted wherever needed to help meet the organization’s daily goals. This experience gave me a deeper appreciation for community service and the impact of helping others.
