Hello my name is Samuel DeLong and I am a dad, a gamer, and an advocate for the disabled. First and foremost I am a writer. I use my voice to share a love of tech and nerdy things to foster creativity and inspiration to those around me. For the last ten years, I have been working at a non profit that teaches computer and life skills to children and adults on the autism spectrum. As a disabled person myself I find offer a unique perspective on my day job work as well y opinions on all our our shared pop culture passions, but sharing stories of how comics and video games rescued me from the loneliness and isolation of being born a little different.After a day of video editing and creativity writing used for customer engagement, I get behind my elgato mic and record a podcast, stream some video games and reach out to those looking for some nerdy fun. I believe that Media and Pop culture Journalism is an opportunity for a cross section between imaginative creativity and a community experience bridging gender and age gaps as well all learn and grown sharing our love of all the nerdy things we loved and still love, a piece of a childhood for the young and the forever young at heart.
