Main duties performed:• Plan and devliever swimming lessons to young people in wave 1 upto wave 8.• Ensure sessions are fun and engaging for every participant.• Ensure all participants are safe whilst in and out of the water.• Safeguard all participants and staff to ensure the correct practices are performed.• Mark and assess all participants to ensure they are competent in the relevant areas to move up to the next class.• Follow the Swim Wales pathway and mark scheme to ensure the participants are up to standard and competent in the water.

Main duties performed: • To Deliver of sport and physical activity to 5-12 year olds attending monmouthshire games.• To activly promote through sport and physical activity, the development of fundimental/physical literacy skills, confidence and the opportunity for children and young people to engage in a more active lifestyle.• To develop skills in communication and effectively engage with children, young people and team members.• To plan/lead the differentiation of activities to ensure all children are engaged in sport and physical activity.• To attend speceific training as and when required, working towards attaining appropriate training qualifications.• To contribute to the well being of all centre users by practising a high standard of customer car, including offering advice about aspects of the centre’s provision, as set out in your induction and ongoing training and support.• To ensure appropriate and continuous observance of the health and saftey requirements throughout the centre at all times, as set out in your site induction and ongoing training and support.• To abide by the princeples and practice of equality of opportunity as laid downin the council’s Equal Opportunities Policy, as set out in your site induction and ongoing training and support.• To abide by the council’s policy and practice with regard to safeguarding and protection of childrenand vulnerable adults, as set out in your site induction and ongoing training and support.
